Anne Frank: A history for Today Exhibition
The Cape Town Holocaust and Genocide Centre will be staging an exhibition entitled “Anne Frank: A history for today” from 15 December 2020 until 22 January 2021. The exhibition created by Anne Frank House explores the life of Anne Frank, the well-known German-Dutch Diarist and her experience as a young girl in hiding, during the German Occupation of the Netherlands during World War II. It also looks at her capture and deportation to Bergen Belsen Concentration Camp in Germany where she perished merely weeks before the Camp was liberated by the Allied Forces. The exhibit also contains a replicate of the annex where she and her family hide.
