International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust

This memorial day (commemorated each year on the 27th of January, the anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz) is aimed at remembering the victims of the Holocaust, and examining the dangers of antisemitism and other forms of prejudice as well as promoting a commitment to Holocaust education by the member states of the United Nations.
The event will include a screening of the film ‘Who Will Write our History’, a candle lighting ceremony and a message from the UN Secretary General António Guterres.
