Sharing Their Stories: A Story-Infused Lecture Resistance and Uprisings During the Holocaust |
This programme brings together scholars and storytellers, creating a unique evening of history and commemoration.
The lecture will delve in to the historical aspects of Jewish resistance and uprisings in ghettos and camps during the Holocaust. Our historical discussion will be infused with testimony-based stories of Jewish heroines told by four different storytellers from Teach the Shoah and the Cape Town Holocaust & Genocide Centre.
Featuring lecturer Lynne Feldman, storytellers Orli Barnet (CTHGC), Joanne Gilbert, Deborah Fripp, and Violet Neff-Helms, along with the poetry of Karen Webber.
