Gerald has been involved with the accounting profession for more than 40 years and has predominantly concentrated on providing professional consulting services to entrepreneurs, their businesses and their family affairs. In 1979, he became an International Partner of Arthur Andersen and in 1996 was appointed Country Managing Partner for South Africa. He thereafter retired from the firm and in 2002, established a boutique consulting practice, Diamond Consulting. In August 2003, he merged this practice with MGI Bass Gordon. Over the years, he has held numerous honorary public, community and charitable positions. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant SA as well as a CPA Israel.
