When I was at the Holocaust museum, I was looking at a big photograph of the Hitler Youth boys. I wanted to capture one of the boys in my artwork to get a sense of the harsh reality that was Nazi Germany. The medium that I used was a black ink marker. The black in a way symbolizes the inhumanity and harshness of the Nazis.
