This is a drawing based on an image of a concentration camp orchestra. I chose to work from this image as it showed a macabre sense of creativity and culture in a world and time of darkness. The focus of my artwork was on how the talent and creativity of the victims of the Holocaust was turned against them, and how it may have haunted them.
