Bella Rahmani was born in Rhodes Island. She was deported to Auschwitz, and then to Lansberg, before being liberated at Febelfilg. After spending time in Italy and Egypt, she emigrated to the Congo in 1947. She settled in South Africa in 1974. Bella passed away in 2008 and is sorely missed by her many friends in the Cape Town Jewish community.
